Traveling abroad with a young child can be enough to give even a seasoned traveler like Anthony Bourdain the shakes. Dealing with differences in language, culture, and food bring their own challenges, and adding your little traveler to the mix is even more unpredictable. Luckily, we’ve done some legwork, and want to share some valuable tips with you.
Every August, my friend Julian from Marseille, France takes three weeks off, and heads to an island called Porquerolles with his family. When I studied abroad in Marseille, my friends would speak fondly of Porquerolles, so we were excited to join Julian to experience the island for ourselves.
