“The Wiz Live” Gave Me Life!
I was counting down the days until “The Wiz Live” debuted on Thursday, December 3, and it did not disappoint! An impressive 11.5 million viewers tuned in to watch the star-studded, live telecast. Our six-year-old even stayed up WAY past his bedtime to get in on the action. The great thing about children is that they stay in the moment, so there weren’t any comparisons about which version of The Wiz was better or who was singing their heart out. I live for moments like this to create fun, holiday traditions.
It’s important for our children to see representations of themselves on the big screen and in society to know they’re capable of anything!
